Born in Mendoza, Germán is a strong representative of the new generation of Argentine oenologists. He got his degree at the Universidad Juan Agustín Maza, and started working young for wineries such as Viña Cobos, Noemía (Río Negro, Patagonia), and Finca Sophenia.

In recent years he became fully committed to Escala Humana Wines, his own project, and has created new wines that took the market by surprise. His is a search for wines that both refined palates and new consumers can find interesting, with strong identities and great drinkability. Germán makes young, sustainable, beautiful wines.
