MATIAS RICCITELLI

Matías was born in Cafayate, a small town with a big wine culture in Salta. Ever a dreamer and traveler, Matías experienced countless harvests all over the world, and harvested his own stories and anecdotes, big and small. He then combined everything he had learnt as a winemaker along the way with the teachings of his father and mentor, Jorge Riccitelli, before creating Riccitelli Wines in 2009.

His vineyards are proof of his search for each terroir's greatest expression, and his high standards of purity and delicacy when it comes to both making and ageing wine. By respecting the vineyard's singularity, Matías creates vibrant wines which show Argentina's great potential in terms of a large diversity of soils that are highly influenced by altitude.
