As the Oenology Manager for Grupo Avinea, Juan Pablo oversees the production of the world''s southernmost vineyards in Bodega Otronia, located in Chubut, on the 45th parallel south. Once distinguished as "Young Oenologist of the Year" by British critic Tim Atkins and as "Oenologist of the Year" by by Chilean Patricio Tapia's Guía Descorchados, Juan Pablo is certain that the best way to improve a region's expression is by growing vineyards in a natural way, with respect for the agroecological system and a fundamentally organic approach.

All of these things make for wines with distinct definition, personality and character; wines that are greatly appreciated by consumers and international critics alike: Descorchados named Otronia the Best White Wine in Argentina.
