Paz is Argentina's poetic authority when it comes to international sommellerie. Born in Bariloche, in Patagonia, she now lives in Paris and is considered one of the top sommeliers in the world, as well as Argentine wine's great ambassador. She is currently Cheffe Sommelière Exécutive for Groupe Pic, working side by side with multiple-award-winning French Chef Anne-Sophie Pic; Paz has thus become the first ever woman in charge of beverages for a three-Michelin-Star restaurant.
Among her many accolades are the titles of Best Sommelier in Argentina, Best Sommelier in the Americas and Fourth Best Sommelier in the World. She also serves as one of the judges for Europe's most prestigious wine competitions, acts as Regional Chair for the Decanter World Wine Awards tasting panel, and tastes and writes for Whisky Mag France. Paz leads Argentina Reloaded, a series of food & wine experiences which take place in different capital cities of the world and which aim at truly putting Argentina's new wine scene in the spotlight.
