HANS VINDING DIERS

While his nationality is Danish, Hans was born in the South African winemaking district of Stellenbosch. He was raised in Bordeaux, France, where his family owned the Chateau de Landiras, in Graves. Throughout the years Hans has produced wines in Australia, Chile, France, Spain, Portugal, South Africa, Hungary, and Uruguay. In the late 90s, when he was working as a freelancer for an English wine company, he was offered a joint venture with an Argentine winery.

Hans created his first wine in 1999 for the Humberto Canale winery. He fell in love with Patagonia and, in 2000, discovered the famous 1932 Mainqué vineyard, which became the birthplace of the Noemía winery.
